Louis Vuitton presented its Cruise 2026 campaign last week in Paris at Palais des Papes in Avignon, France. The historical landmark is one of Europe’s largest and most important medieval Gothic buildings.
The venue’s exquisite details and art-filled corners made for the perfect destination for Cruise 2026, paying homage to Louis Vuitton’s storied connection to the arts.
The collection itself does tie back to the Palais des Papes, rooted in inspiration from the Middle Ages.
Ready-to-wear plays on medieval silhouettes. Hints of metallic shine and glimmer nod to knighthood, while intricate tapestry-inspired prints and gilded accents extend to the bags and accessories as well.
New Meets Old for Louis Vuitton Cruise 2025
Bags are a mix of House icons, new and old. The Alma appears throughout, reimagined with details evocative of the past, like intricate hand-painted iterations with metallic prints sitting atop soft leather. Elsewhere, models toted wearable new bags like the LV Biker and Fall 2025’s L’Express bag.
A distinct, wooden box bag created in collaboration with artist subtly nods to the collection’s medieval inspirations and once again pares back to the Maison’s connection to the arts. View bags from the runway below.
